I Mr. Bison sono un power trio Heavy Psych Prog, influenzato da mostri sacri della “Golden Era” come Captain Beyond, Pink Floyd, King Crimson e band attuali come Motorpsycho ed Elder. Formati a Livorno/Pisa, dopo i loro primi due album Heavy Blues al fulmicotone “We’ll be brief” (2012) e “Asteroid” (2016), i Mr. Bison si affermano a livello internazionale nel 2018 con l’uscita dell acclamato terzo album “Holy Oak” caratterizzato da un’impronta più psichedelica e progressiva, al quale seguono tour in tutt’Europa e negli USA, in supporto ad artisti del calibro di Danko Jones, Mondo Generator, Red Fang, Sea Sick Steve, Radio Moscow, Nebula fino a presenziare come unica band Italiana al Planet Desert Fest a LAS VEGAS in opening al pioniere del genere frontman dei Kyuss “John Garcia“& the band of Gold.
Dopo un ottimo SPLIT ad inizio 2020 con gli americani Spacetrucker, per l’ americana Ripple Music, in Ottobre 2020 pubblicano il loro quarto album “Seaward”, via Subsound Records (ITA) e nuovamente Ripple Music (USA) registrato da Matteo Barsacchi e mixato/masterizzato a San Diego (CA) dal produttore Jordan Andreen (Earthless, Sacri Monti).“Seaward” è un concept album basato sulla leggenda delle 7 Perle del Tirreno, un viaggio psichedelico e progressivo attraverso il Mar Mediterraneo ed i suoi miti.
Il singolo Child Of The Night Sky anticipa il loro prossimo album, in uscita il 16 febbraio 2024 “Echoes From The Universe” via Heavy Psych Sound
Mr Bison introduced their brand of Heavy Blues influenced by groups like Captain Beyond, Pink Floyd, King Crimson and the more recent Motorpsycho and Elder. Formed in Leghorn/Pisa(Italy) – After their debut in 2012 with “We’ll be brief” and “Asteroid” in the 2016 , the band firmly established itself in 2018 with acclaimed “Holy Oak”, which suddenly brought them toured all Europe and US with prestigious acts such as Danko Jones, John Garcia, Mondo Generator, Red Fang, Sea Sick Steve, Radio Moscow, Nebula and many others. This was followed by a US run that saw them perform at the great Planet Desert Festival in Las Vegas. In April 2020 they released their last album “Seaward”, via Subsound Records and Ripple Music. “Seaward” was recorded by Matteo Barsacchi and mixed/mastered in the “Audio Design Recordings”, by Jordan Andreen (Earthless, Sacri Monti). “Seaward” is arguably the most blazing, powerful and eclectic album yet by Mr. Bison.
Their new album “Echoes From The Universe” will be released February 16th 2024 via Heavy Psych Sound.
